Wilford Lamastus is a fourth-generation coffee producer at Lamastus Family Estates in Boquete, Panama.
He continues a family legacy that began in 1918, overseeing renowned estates including Elida, El Burro, and Luito.
His work has earned multiple Best of Panama recognitions, elevating Panamanian coffee on the world stage.
The Origin Story
A Legacy Rooted in the Highlands
Founded in 1918, Elida Estate is one of Panama’s most celebrated coffee farms, produced by the Lamastus Family for four generations. Located on the slopes of the Barú Volcano in Boquete, the estate sits at some of the highest elevations in the country, surrounded by protected cloud forests and shaped by a cool, unique microclimate.
These exceptional conditions, combined with generations of expertise, result in coffees renowned for their clarity, complexity, and distinction.
